A ridiculous, overblown film that perfectly mimics the excess of the 1980s. As a movie it is just pure fun, but as an action movie it is actually pretty good. The cast is very strong and there are plenty of fun cameos. Plus, things fucking explode and people’s throats are slit. This is not an homage to 80s action movies, this is an 80s action movie.
