IMDB

A young girl (maybe 6 years old) is orphaned in a Nazi bombing of a bridge in the French countryside.  She goes to find her dead dog, which is thrown off of the bridge by a woman, and meets Michel.  Michel brings her home with him, and she starts living there.  The two children start a cemetery for dead animals in a rundown mill.
This movie deals with some extremely heavy topics: death, the religious ceremonies surrounding death, WWII, the innocence of children.  I highly recommend seeing this, it’s an amazing and powerful film.  One of the best, although it is extremely depressing.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
