A defense attorney finds himself defending a creep, whose truth unveils itself to him. It’s honestly hard to describe this movie without giving away important plot points and twists, so I will leave it at that one sentence and urge you to see this for yourself.
A very good film featuring some pretty excellent performances from Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy and Ryan Phillippe. I expected to enjoy this film based on the buzz it received upon its release, but my level of enjoyment passed by expectations. An intriguing thriller with twists that never seem ham-fisted or goofy.
