“Topkapi” is a heist movie. A group of individuals, each with a certain skill set, come together to steal a jewel encrusted dagger.
This movie has a lasting influence in the heist genre, but it is very dated. It is watchable, especially during the actual heist, but the earlier moments of the film had me bored at times. Still, a fair movie that is rightfully called a classic for its influence alone.
