Super Energetic Man is the story of a young man who has fallen in love with a princess over the internet. There's a bald guy, I believe he's the young man's boss, who is trying to keep them apart and take the princess for himself.
This movie is completely off the wall. It's somewhat of a Hong Kong Popeye (sometimes the young man eats some spinach and beats the fuck out of people), but it's also a romantic comedy. Most of all, it's an absurd HK comedy. Very absurd.
There is a bit of kung fu, but not too much. Mostly it's a fast-paced comedy with a few well-placed gags that get milked for all their worth. For instance, the princess goes to church and the bald guy is trying to impress her by telling her he knows all of the hymns. Then he tries to sing along with the hymn, but only knows the word "hallelujah." It's funnier on screen, I'm sure. If you like HK silliness or weird shit this should be up your alley.
