IMDB

Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor star in this comedy as friends who are fired from their job on the same day. They end up getting framed for a bank robbery and are sentenced to 135 years in prison. The warden of the prison finds out that Gene Wilder might be his ticket to winning the prison rodeo. Craig T. Nelson, isn't fondo the idea, and when Wilder refuses to do it Nelson tries to break his spirit. Wilder never shows any weakness, but when they threaten to cut one of Pryor's testicles off he decides to do, and to use it as a way to break out of prison.
Pretty decent movie. Nothing too funny here, and I have no idea why they are dressed up like chickens on the box, perhaps I missed that part. The poster says they dress up like woodpeckers, so I guess I was in the kitchen or bathroom at that moment. There are some funny moments and Wilder is funny in general, I think. Of course, Pryor is a comedic genius on a different level, but his acting isn't his strong point. Pryor is probably the greatest stand-up of all time.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
