IMDB
Steve Motherfucking McQueen stars as Ralph 'Papa' Thorson, a bounty hunter and lover of all things old. He gives a job to the guy from Reading Rainbow, LeVar Burton, I think. He tells him he has a job, but LeVar spends the movie trying to fix Papa's tv set. After that he fights with his pregnant girlfriend and beats up bad guys, mostly killing them.
Hey, I'm a sucker for McQueen I guess, and the rating for this movie is the proof. Steve McQueen is so badass. He essentially travels to Chicago just to fight on top of a train. Then right when he gets back his girlfriend has been kidnapped by some ex-con who McQueen bounty hunted.
Pretty good movie. It's essentially the telling of Thorson's child being born, but with a little bit of the ol' ultra violence thrown in for good measure. I feel like somethings got glossed over, but it kept the pace up as a result. I'm actually considering reading the book that this movie was based off of.
7.5/10
