This movie tells the origin of Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern. It also is the coming together of many heroes to take on a space monster that looks like an island that shits out dinosaurs. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman take a backseat to other heroes like Lantern and Flash, which is really cool.
The animation style is beautiful and the movie itself flows really well. I was expecting it to be good, but was surprised by how good it was. This is the first in what I hope will become a long line of PG-13 DC cartoons. I liked the Gotham Knight and Superman: Doomsday, and now you can add Justice League: The New Frontier to that list.
