Roger Rabbit is a wacky cartoon character who is framed for murder. Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) is hired by him to help him out and figure out what's going on. Christopher Lloyd is trying to steal Toonland away from the toons to make a freeway.
This movie is a classic. It's funny and has a heart. It pays homage to classic cartoon characters way better than Space Jam does. My only problem is that the animation is inconsistent, by which I mean the characters can look different at times. Sometimes they are beautiful and heavily shadowed and sometimes they are a bit grainy. That's minor, because the script is so great that it hardly matters.
