IMDB

The great director Billy Wilder directs this fast-paced and goofy comedy. James Cagney is the head of Coca-Cola in West Berlin. He's trying to work his way back to the top and get promoted to London. He takes the head of Coca-Cola's daughter, Scarlett, into his home for two weeks, which turns into two months. A wrench is thrown into his plan when he finds out Scarlett has married a communist from East Berlin, Otto. He has the Otto thrown into jail, but finds out that Scarlett has become pregnant. Now he has to get everything sorted out by the time Scarlett's parents come to get her from West Berlin.
This movie was really great, funny and completely crazy. James Cagney delivers a hilarious performance, barking orders at his subordinates and trying to fix the messy situations.
The last half of this movie flies by at a lightning speed. Cagney is trying to turn Otto into the perfect son in law in a matter of a few hours, much to Otto's displeasure. Definitely recommended.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
