IMDB

This is one of those movies that has multiple stories going on at once that intertwine at the end. There are two stories. One involving Woody Allen falling in love with Mia Farrow as he makes a documentary about his brother-in-law. The other is Martin Landau getting threatened by his mistress, and instead of telling his wife he's been having an affair, he has his mistress murdered by a hitman.
These two stories are very different in tone. The Woody Allen story is funny and the Landau story is very serious and tragic. They're both good, but the Woody Allen story is a lot better. I don't mind serious Woody Allen, but I don't prefer it.
A good movie, but it leans more toward drama than comedy. If you're not into serious Woody Allen stay away.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
