IMDB

Patton Oswalt stars as a middle-aged man who still lives with his mother and is a huge football fan. He is a frequent caller to a local radio show. One night he and his friend see their favorite football player at a gas station and follow him to a strip club. When they go up to say hi, they say that they were following them and Oswalt gets beaten severely and has to be hospitalized. With his favorite player suspended because of him, it leaves him pondering what to do. His rival caller on the radio show finds out that he's the one who is suing the football player and his life further crumbles apart. He heads to the bar where his rival watches games and confronts him.
I found this movie somewhat enjoyable. It has a few humorous moments, but it has an overall dark and uneasy tone. The first half of an hour was pretty grueling to get through, but otherwise it was fine. Patton Oswalt puts in a good performance and the film is directed pretty well. I'm not a sports' fan, you may enjoy the film more if you are.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
