Sam Raimi returns to the horror genre with this film. A woman working at a bank rejects a gypsie woman for an extension and causes her to get evicted. The woman in turn attacks her in a parking garage and puts a curse on her. She is now being hunted down by an evil spirit who wants to drag her to hell.
I liked this movie. I would have rated it significantly higher, but the twist ending is so telegraphed and lame, but also sort of appropriate. I only took off a point for it.
There were a lot of grossout moments and I've never seen so much slime being vomited. If you like the Evil Dead movies then you'll have a lot of fun with this one.
