IMDB
A group of upper-Manhattan yuppies are going through debutante season when they ask an outsider waiting to cross the street to join them. He riles them up a little while they have extremely boring conversations and act smarter than they are.
While I hate every character in this film and would rather die than be in any of the conversations that take place, I did think it was fairly funny. It doesn't judge what these people do, but it does satirize it a bit.
I don't know if I would recommend it to anybody besides die-hard indie film fans (like me in high school). I like Whit Stillman's The Last Days of Disco more, although it's fairly similar.
7/10
