Viggo Mortensen stars as a man who is facing the apocalypse and trying to shield his son from danger. There are very few people left in the world and the most of the ones that are left are cannibals.
A very dark and depressing movie about loneliness and survival. The future has never looked so bleak and barren. I would classify this film as a drama, but it also has some strong horror elements. At times it is reminiscent of a zombie film, but played straighter. This is not a movie for everybody, but if you can handle it it's worth watching.
