Ah Jong (Chow Yun Fat) is an assassin who accidentally blinds a singer during a shootout. He is remorseful and decides to take care of the singer, trying to help her get a cornea replacement and the money to get the operation. Two cops are hot on Ah Jong's trail, especially Danny Lee, who is stalking him and trying to bring him down. After many betrayals from friends, Ah Jong and Danny Lee team up to help the singer get safely away and have her corneas replaced.
This is a very violent film and extremely fast-paced. John Woo is great when it comes to directing movies featuring huge gunfights. Along with Hard Boiled, this movie more than makes up for any shitty Mission Impossible movie Woo has made. A must see for action fans.
