After watching Rio Bravo last night, I was in the mood for a "late night" style comedy. I've had this on my Netflix Instant Queue for a while for whatever reason. Suffice to say, this movie was awful.
Mark Hamill and his advanced auto high school class put together a nice Corvette. Then, while they are test-driving it, the car is stolen. Mark Hamill, being a huge loser, has nothing going on in his life so he takes off to Las Vegas to find his car. There he meets a wannabe prostitute (played by Annie Potts).
This movie sucked. I mean, it really sucked. Mark Hamill is a terrible actor. His delivery is mostly monotoned. The only emotion he expresses well in the movie is being shy about having sex with a lady. The story drags on seemingly forever. I don't even give a shit about cars! When I see "late night comedy" I think of dudes trying to get laid or women trying to save a business by wearing bikinis. I don't think of some loser heading to Vegas to find a missing car.
3.5/10
