A servant is killed, leaving his son to be trained by the kung fu master. The master's daughter, when they're grown up, cuts off his arm. He winds up on a farm and teaches himself how to do kung fu with one arm.
A pretty good pre-70s kung fu movie. Pretty bloody and great sets. The action wasn't my cup of tea, but it wasn't bad. I think people who like swordfighting will like it. I prefer hand-to-hand combat. Still, this is a classic martial arts movie and a has a really nice remastering from the Shaw Bros. I don't know if all of the Shaw Bros. movies look this nice now, but I've seen a lot that are beautiful.
7/10
