Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Adam, a man who has been diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer. This character study film shows Adam and his best friend (Seth Rogen), girlfriend (Bryce Dallas Howard), and his therapist (Anna Kendrick) dealing with the situation.
“50/50” is a very funny movie. I was a little cautious going into it, thinking the cancer would turn me off. My wife refused to watch it for that very reason. Yet, I ended up absolutely loving it. I am, in fact, upset that it did not get a Best Picture nomination, yet that bullshit 9/11 movie about keys did.
