IMDB

“The Social Network” tells the story of Mark Zuckerberg creating Facebook, the popular social networking site.  It portrays Zuckerberg as a type-a egotistical jerk, which is probably true.  It’s probably why he has had the success he’s had.  The film uses two lawsuits Zuckerberg is involved in as a narrative device.
The script was penned by Aaron Sorkin, who I love.  It was directed by David Fincher, who has a pretty unique visual syle.  It is an interesting combination of talents.
I enjoyed this film greatly.  I knew I would and I had been wanting to see it since its release.  Jesse Eisenberg was very good as Mark Zuckerberg and deservedly was nominated for an Academy Award.  Sorkin won, which is great.  Very good movie.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
