Corey is let out of prison thanks to a prison guard who wants him to do a job.  On his way to Paris, an escaped convict, Vogel, jumps into his trunk.  They team up with a cop-turned-criminal to rob a diamond store.  Meanwhile, the cop who was watching Vogel at the time of his excape hunts him down using a nightclub owner for information.
An excellent film.  The color is very muted, which gives a great gritty effect.  I’m trying to watch the Melville films before they go off of Netflix Instant, and so far I’m loving them.  Highly recommended.  I already want to watch it again.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
