Will Ferrell stars in yet another sports movie, although this one has a slight edge due to it's r-rating.
Will Ferrell is the owner, coach and a player for the ABA team the Tropics. When he learns that the ABA and NBA are merging and only the top 4 teams are making it, he trades a washing machine for a player with an NBA championship ring, played by Woody Harrelson. Pretty much follows the Bad News Bears rules of sports movies.
I did enjoy this movie to a degree. It had some laughs, but it was no Major League or Bull Durham. It is nice to see Will Ferrell in an r movie, though.
