IMDB
The Flying Swordsgirl and her little sister are living on an island and the only other inhabitant is an old hermit. He tells them the story of how his children are all missing or presumed dead. Then one day the girls fish a man out of the lake. The little girl ends up captured by pirates.
I didn't pay a ton of attention to the hard to read subtitles, but I think I picked up the gist of the movie. There isn't very much fighting, save for a few clumsy swordfights, nor much blood. The story was fairly interesting, sometimes reminding me of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This is an okay kung fu movie, but it wasn't necessarily what I'm looking for in my wire-fu flicks.
6/10
