Airheads is the classic tale of three mid-90s hair metalers who hold a radio station hostage to get their demo tape played. Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi are the trio known as the Lone Rangers. Joining them are Michael Mckean, Michael Richards, David Arquette, Judd Nelson, Ernie Hudson and Chris Farley. The cast is fairly massive, but so are the Lone Rangers' cult following by the end of the flick.
This movie is dumb, of course, yet it has its charm. Adam Sandler and Buscemi are funny; I absolutely hate Brendan Fraser, though. Fraser is awful in everything. His girlfriend in the movie looks like Christina Applegate, but fear not, it is somebody else named Amy Locane.
There are some funny lines and they get a lot of use out of the word 'dick.' If that's your bag, then you will surely enjoy this dated 90s movie.
